Resources in Autism Education

 

Resources in Autism Education, Inc. is a Nonpublic Agency certified with the California Department of Education and a vendor of the California Regional Center system. We specialize in meeting the unique needs of children and teens with challenging behaviors and their families. We serve our clients when and where they need us by designing effective behavioral interventions for children, teens, and families with or without a diagnosis of Autism.

It is up to us parents and professionals to be steadfast in demanding the best integrative therapies and interventions for those we serve. The Ed Roberts Campus

 

The Ed Roberts Campus commemorates the life and work of Edward V. Roberts, an early leader in the independent living movement of persons with disabilities. Ed believed in the strength of collaborative efforts: He called it ‘working toward our preferred future.

Abilities United

 

Since its inception, Abilities United has offered people of all ages and abilities educational, therapeutic, recreational and vocational experiences to help them lead meaningful lives and resource connections that make it easier for them to lead the lives they chose. Our work involves championing for their rights – but that doesn’t mean making decisions for them; it means making decisions with them.

Capitol Autism Services

 

Based on a positive programming philosophy and Applied Behavior Analysis framework, we assess the child’s unique strengths and abilities in order to develop individualized programs targeting areas of need and meaningful skills. Emphasis is placed on the inclusion and training of parents in the development of abilities promoting generalization of learned skills across a variety of environments and daily living activities.

LEKOTEK CENTERS offer therapeutic PLAY-based family sessions for families of children with disabilities structured to help children learn, develop and thrive in a world that presents them with many unique and complex challenges. School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities

Grounded in our overall philosophy that learning is a journey, not a destination, LeRoy Haynes Center’s School for Autism offers specialized educational services and treatments for all children on the “spectrum.”

Therapro: Occupational Therapy Products

Our goal is to provide unique speech and occupational therapy supplies for preventive, developmental, and rehabilitative care. With the right tools, including occupational therapy assessments and evaluations, kids and adult activities, games, products and toys, developing gross motor skills, fine motor skills and communication skills is less frustrating, and will result in better outcomes in a shorter period of time.

World Institute on Disability
